Take a cotton swab, get it wet with water and place it close to the tick.

Put the q-tip on the back of the tick and rotate it around its mouth.
Continuous rotation
It is easy to remove a tick by using a cotton swab rather using a tweezer. The swab helps to remove the whole tick without leaving any parts of it inside the skin.
